Exams in the fall session 2021

In the coming days the University will implement the procedure to request for the remote examination for the students that are in one of the following conditions:

  • disability;
  • impossibility to go to the exam site for health reasons;
  • impossibility to go to the exam site for reasons of force majeure related to the health emergency from Covid-19)

When registering for the exam through the usual http://esami.unipi.it portal, the student who is in one of the situations mentioned above can check the box “Chiedo una prova in remoto”. In this way it will appear: the name and e-mail address of the president of the course of study  and of the holder of the course and a link to a web form, in which the student will declare:

  • to be aware that criminal and administrative liability is provided for in the event of false statements;
  • which course of study is enrolled, also entering the e-mail address of the chair of the course of study;
  • the name of the course of which he wants to take the distance exam, also entering the e-mail address of the professor;
  • the estimated date of the examination,
  • which of the following three situations holds:
    • student with disabilities;
    • temporary impediment caused by one’s state of health;
    • reasons of force majeure related to the health emergency from Covid-19 (such as: quarantine, lockdown, travel restrictions related to the colors of the regions, restrictions on international travel).

The student in one of these situations, after the closing of the exam registrations, can still fill out the form by going to the web address: http://su.unipi.it/DichiarazioneEsameRemoto authenticating with the university credentials. It is understood that the completion of the form does not replace the usual registration for the exam, which must in any case take place through the http://esami.unipi.it site before the deadline for registrations expires.
Once the form has been completed, the system generates a pdf declaration that is automatically sent to the chair of the course of study, to the holder of the course and, for information, to the student.

Since the completion of the form takes place only after the student has identified himself through the university credentials, the pdf declaration generated is for all legal purposes a substitute declaration of deed of notoriety, and therefore it is not necessary for the student to send further documents or certificates.

The email sent by the system will have in the subject the words ” Svolgimento a distanza di esame di profitto”.
