Seminar: The GDPR principles and the role of the Data Protection Officer.

The seminar will illustrate the principles defined by the EU Regulation 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation, and the role of the Data Protection Officer, introduced by the Articles 37-39 of the Regulation.

Dr. Raffaele Conte graduated in computer science, with a master’s degree in “rights and governance of the Internet ecosystem,” he had in charge the management of IT systems and scientific projects in the field of e-Health for the Italian National Research Council. Since October 2020, he has been the Data Protection Officer for the same institution.

6th ITASEC Conference: Italian Conference on Cybersecurity

The ITASEC conference will be held in Rome, from 20th to 23rd of June, 2022 (link: www.itasec.it). It provides free registration for university students (includes the entire conference except the banquet). Free event for graduated students: First Ascent

First Ascent is an exclusive, all-expenses-paid, four-day retreat for twenty of Italy’s finest Computer Science and Software Engineering students. It will be held in Copenaghen (DK) on 22-25 September 2022. More information available here. The deadline for application is May 29th, 2022.

Hiring of Cybersecurity experts at the National Agency for Cybersecurity

the National Agency for Cybersecurity is recruiting 50 experts in Cybersecurity, it is required a M.Sc. with minimum degree of 105/110. More information here.

IMQ FARM: The first training path for the future experts in Cybersecurity

IMQ Farm is a new initiative created by the IMQ Group in order to train 15 new cybersecurity experts to be included in the staff of IMQ Intuity and IMQ Minded Security, the two companies of the group specialized in Cyber Security and Software Security.

The specialist course in cyber security will be open to only 15 talents, selected from recent graduates and undergraduates in computer engineering, computer science and cybersecurity.

Hosted in the Milan technology hub of IMQ, the course will be held by authoritative professionals of the sector, with international fame and experience, including: Matteo Meucci, CEO of IMQ Minded Security and founder of the Italian chapter of the OWASP project, the reference standard international for verifying the security of web applications; Stefano Di Paola, co-founder and CTO IMQ Minded Security; Paolo Sardena co-founder and COO of IMQ Intuity.

Interested parties can apply online until February 28, through the website www.imqfarm.com. The selection interviews will be held by March 15 and the training will start on April 4, 2022.

At the end of the course, the most talented resources will be included in the staff of IMQ Intuity and IMQ Minded Security.

European Defence Challenge II edition
